Annual Dog License Notice
NOTICE TO DOG OWNERS
OF THE
CITY OF
Dog licenses for the year 2020 will expire on April 30, 2021.
New annual dog licenses may be purchased at the City Office at 342 Central Avenue or at the Perkins County Veterinary Hospital at 68 South Central Avenue.
Proof of rabies shots must be presented at the time of licensing.
The fee per dog license is $6.00.
Per City Ordinance Section 3-203: Dogs; Licensing; Fee; Rabies Certificate
Any person who shall own, keep, or harbor a dog over the age of three months within the municipality shall within 30 days after acquisition of the dog acquire a license for each such dog annually by or before May 1 of each year.
Per City Ordinance Section 3-208: Limit on Number
It shall be unlawful to own, keep, or harbor more than three cats and three dogs per residence within the city.
