COUNCIL PROCEEDINGS
CITY OF GRANT, NEBRASKA
April 28, 2008
Mayor Adam Uehling convened a meeting of the Council of the City of Grant, Nebraska in open and public session on April 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Notice of this meeting was given in advance by publication in the Grant Tribune Sentinel, the City’s designated method for giving notice, April 24, 2008, and members of the City Council and a copy of their Acknowledgment of Receipt and the Agenda are attached to these minutes. Availability of the Agenda was communicated in the advance notice and in the notice to the Mayor and Council of this meeting. All proceedings hereafter shown were recorded while said meeting was open to the attendance of the public.
Mayor Uehling announced the posting of the Open Meetings Act and its location.
Roll call: Present Council members: Pick, Pierce, Wyatt and Mayor Uehling.
Others present: City Administrator Tyson McGreer, and Temporary Treasurer Tara Petty, et al.
The motion was made and seconded to approve the agenda as presented.
Roll call vote: Yeas – all present. Nays – none. Motion carried.
FINANCIALS – Acknowledged as received.
NEW BUSINESS
Mayor appointment of City Clerk/Treasurer. A motion was made and seconded to accept the Mayoral Appointment of Jesse Faber as the City of Grant Clerk/Treasurer.
Roll call vote: Yeas – all present. Nays – none. Motion carried.
Review of APA and Audit Report. Council, Mayor, Adam Uehling, City Manager, Tyson McGreer, Temporary Treasurer, Tara Petty et al reviewed the reports and discussed changes taking place to right/better the issues itemized in the reports.
Public Comment – Sharon Carlson, Idonna Deaver, Marcia Brown, Kathy Harden.
Mayor Uehling adjourned this meeting of the Grant City Council at 8:40 P.M.
